Post by SciroccoSteve »

Ordered a Candy White GT today, wooo hooo!

Sorry just had to air my excitement :0)

Was a toss up between the rising blue, but spotted a white the other day and in the sunshine it looked SO nice.

Bye bye weekends, hello washing the motor!

Did you get to see the other colours in the flesh?
Very good choice, what extras did you put on if any? Got any idea about lead time till it arrives? I've been waiting for a month now and its doing my head in! All I want is my brand new car is it so much to ask for ;)!

Hi ya mate,

na never got to see the rising blue in the flesh, but the dealer im getting it from has a Candy White ready within 7-10 days so thought id better go for the white and get one sooner rather than later!! Plus the white does looks rather mint!

Didnt get any extras, just going to get the side strips painted white and sills put on once i get it :)

Its got a estimate build week of week 26, then VW are shutting down in July for 2 weeks so maybe August :grumpy: or if I am really lucky beginning of July but I doubt it. Thats pretty good your getting your so quick quite jealous. What engine did you go for? Or did you mention that in an earlier thread, can't remember.
