Where are you going to park your new Scirocco?

Post by paulmaddocks »

Hey all,

I am going to be the only one here who does not currently have a drive way to park my car purchase on when it eventually arrives? Currently will have to park mine on the road outside the house (all be in the view of both my CCTV cameras!

Should I be concerned, my area is not particually 'dodgy', a driveway is potentially possible but a lot of hassle (drop kerbs, permission from freeholder etc etc).

What is everyone else doing?

I've got a designated space in off street parking. It's more likely to get scratched at work though!

it will live on the drive, more worried about the gti pirelli (and its alloys) than the scirocco, and lets phase it these days they are more likely to break into the house to steal the the keys, i have similar car park phobia Kev and will be avoiding the anarchy of Templars Square in Oxford (Kev will vouch for that) and looking for wide spots (given the size of the doors)

Mine will be getting parked in my New house with double garage along side my MK2 Golf GTI bare shell

GTI Pirelli's are easy replaced, VW UK has massive stocks of them available as they aint been selling well - infact i spoke to a dealer who said they are likely to start reducing the cost of those models significantly to shift them. . . . .

mine will be parked on the street and in central london. If the owners of the 911's and the astons are happy to do it then I guess I should be to.

My garage was built in 1970's and I doubt the Scirocco would fit. Not actually measured it though.
