I have Pewter Grey, but was mightily tempted by Viper Green - Quite a difference, I know, but was interested what the other owners considered was the most

everyone has a very different opinion of whats attractive jez hence everyone has chosen different colours when they have ordered. if we all liked the same thing the world would be a very dull place.

the what colour poll gives you a fair idea of the split of colours but obviously thats not all of them. your question is kind of like asking how long is a piece of string

I appreciate what you say Trix. Didn't realise there was a colour poll.
Do ya know? I thought I was indecisive, but I'm not sure now!!

Cars should only come in balck in my opinion. :-)

Pewter grey does look lovely and Viper is definately striking (in a good way)

Have I helped...

Thanks for your thoughts. If I was a really cool Guy I'd have Black, but I'll have to leave that to the Steve McQeens of this world!

Well the easier answer is to look what people have bought the chances are thats gonna be their preferred colour unless they've got a good deal on a used one.
So far all the cars I've had have been within the bruise spectrum (black and blue).
As my current car is black I wanted a change but I think also on the Roc its the bits of black trim that really set it off, so really wanted something that would contrast with the black. Instant choice was gonna be candy white but nearly everyone that has a roc around where I live has a white one. After taking the test drive in the rising blue, that made up my mind..

Buy a red one. A very uncommon colour and looks fantastic.

LOL...You dont need to be cool to drive a black one, I'm middle aged (late 30's so I am guessing that is middled aged), married with a kid and one on the way. Doubt I qualify for cool by any stretch of the imagination :-)

Although I think my Hi-Tec trainers and shell suits may sway the balance, init ;-)

Actually, being a researcher looking at a seemingly obvious question, its actually quite a good one!

Owning a specific colour car doesnt 100% mean that was the preferred colour. What if budget restrictions meant you couldnt have a metallic paint option? Also preference changes, not everyone had the chance to see every colour in reality before ordering their car. I for one now I have seen midnight blue in the flesh (or metal!) actually feel myself prefering it to the black I currently own.

Also, as the original poster said, they really liked Viper Green so you could say preference wise was 55% Grey 45% Green which is clearly different to someone 100% Grey 0% Green.

What would be a better poll would be to put in order of preference all the available colours. I got a sneaky suspicion that Viper Green might appear much more preferred than the poll for ownership shows ... or am I reading too much into this? :eyepop:

:p I have just bought a guitar aswell so I think the crisis is well and truly happening!

Anyway as far as the colour thing is concerned, I can't think of any car that I would choose anything other than black or silver for...... I just think they always look best.

I really, really like the Viper green - somehow it just fits the new Roc - but in the end I just didn't have the guts to go with it (i.e. was over-ruled by the wife  ) and went for Candy white instead - love the clean lines it gives and don't feel like I'm just being too much of a cheapskate because it's not metallic.

I have to say really didn't like the viper green when I first saw it, but after seeing pics of peoples cars it has really grown on me and does really suit the car. But I wanted something a tad more discrete...
