wheel cleaning
Just a quick question........ I have tar spots on my wheels. Is it ok to clay the wheels as you would the paintwork to get rid of things like this ?? Or is clay specifically for the paintwork? I use Bilberry wheel cleaner which brings the wheels up a treat but won't get rid of those spots. Thanks.
Re: wheel cleaning
clay is perfectly suitable for the wheels VWTT, I did mine with clay before putting chemical guys/poor boys wheel sealant on to make them easier to clean

Re: wheel cleaning
You could try a tar remover as an alternative - claying is perfectly ok on the wheels, but you might find spraying on some something like AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover, and wiping it off with a microfibre a bit easier
