Engine Management light

Post by veeedubba »

Just want to be prepared for the dealership tomorrow when Roc goes in for investigation due to Engine Management light on dash spending more time lit than out. its a 2.0 Tsi, light comes on at any revs even when stood in traffic. Im fully expecting then to say no fault found so has anyone else had problems? I did try searching back through threads but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Cheers in anticipation.

it can mean lots of things. The fact its come on it "should" have logged a fault which the dealer will be able to pick up and diagnose when they plug in the 5052 machine.

Your car is still within the 3 year warranty I'd presume so I'd just let them fix whatever's failed.

Does the car have less power than before?

Diagnostic says faulty camshaft position sensor required so back in Thursday for replacement, watch this space.
