Tyre pressures and oil change

Post by rocccosiffredi »

Hi all.

Got my roc today and i'm a bit confused about the first service interval. It's on a longlife service schedule but i'm still not sure at how many miles it should go in? VW guy said the car will tell me when it needs servicing.

Also i can't make head or tales of the required tyre pressures on the pillar....any ideas?

If you are on longlife then first service can be anything up to 2 yrs or 20,000 miles depending upon the type of driving you do. The car will let you know when it needs servicing. I run 33 psi with the 18's measured when the car is cold. So far have found tyre wear nice and even. For higher loads eg regularly carrying a number of passengers and luggage may require higher presures. Check the manual for an exact explanation of those crafty tyre pressure symbols on the VW sticker, mine is in the fuel cap. Enjoy the new ride fella........... 12 months on an i am still loving mine.

Black is the new Black....

turn your ignition on then off, press and hold the 0.0 odometer dash button, hey presto the service interval comes up on your MFD

And yes the tyre pressure info is usually on the inside of the fuel cap..
