Delivery times

I have just read on http://www.vw-r-club.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that delivery times for the new Golf R are July 2010
The post was by someone who works for VW. He also advised that the order books are now closed for the Golf R until quarter 2 2010.

really hope I don't have to wait till July

i hope not because my dealer has given me a trade-in price for my car in march.

Maybe thats just the date for Germans that have missed the first order batch ...like us hoping we are all in the first 2 weeks of orders!

My dealer told me it was probably April or May for the first 500 Rocs, although it could come Feb/March if I was lucky... which I am not with cars and early delivery!

Should be hearing soon if I'm lucky enough to be one of the 500! Ordered on Sat 31st!

My dealer seemed to think there would be no problem getting 1 for march and said he would expect it to probably arrive in february.
Do we get a build date next week?
