The first day of the Race of Champions, this year in China's Birds Nest Stadium, saw 16 of China's top drivers battling it out in VW Scirocco's (used in the Volkswagen Scirocco Cup series) to decide who is the top dog.
Tomorrow the event will progress to the the Nations cup with international star drivers from a variety of different driving spheres such as Jenson Button, Yvan Muller, Travis Pastrana & Michael Schumacher paired up to compete for their nation's honour and the final day will see them pit it out as individuals for one to be crowned Champion of Champions.
This year they are also having an additional Beijing Challenge in a similar format to the R.O.C however the 4 top international drivers shall be up against the 4 top chinese drivers.
Last year it was Michael Schumacher & Sebastian Vettle who triumphed in the Nations Cup & Sebastian Loeb who was crowned Champion of Champions at Wembley Stadium, the Germans will be defending their crown this year however Loeb has not signed up..
