Shipping Dates

Hi all,

Just thought that if someone has a very friendly dealer it would be great (just for interest) to have a list of sailing dates. I think I read somewhere that there is one leaving wk 45 but I will now miss that one!

Or are they pretty regular and it's not really important?

There's no public list. It's good guesswork based on the last couple of months. So far recently, a ship seems to sail every second weekend. Next carrying week 44 & 45 production, sailing 7th November. Arriving in the UK early Monday (9th) of Wk46. Unless there is a hiccup with an individual Scirocco, all will be aboard. No lynch mobs OK, I'm not the captain!

Had a phone call from my dealer on Friday to say my car (build week 44) was scheduled to sail on Wednesday this week (4th Nov). Although every other word to come out of his mouth thus far has been rubbish, but fingers crossed anyway.

Dealers won't speak to me as it's a direct sale, but I do know it is being built on the 9th!! I want it I want it I want it!!!

All they seem to be able to tell me is I should have it by mid December! That seems bl**dy slow from build! Are they just crushing my hopes or could direct sales handovers really be that bad?
