Bought the car in January with 3.5k miles and I am at the 20k mile stage. In this morning for the service. Lets see what it costs for a petrol 2.0TSi with DSG :)

Good luck.
Be very useful to know. Maybe as people start to get services done we can keep tabs on the rough cost so no one gets a surprise

£220!!

Bloody hell. The pre-vat price for the 20k service was £119.00, the rest was oil, the usual filters and VAT.

Interesting part was my tyres. They are the factory p-zero rossos. Fronts are still at 5mm and back are 7mm. Guess I am a reasonably gentle driver then

Sound expensive. I paid £147 for my first service @ 17.5k miles. Mine is also 2.0 Tsi DSG.

You're doing well with the tyres though. Ive done 20k in mine now and my from P zeros are about finished.

That's the second service not the first one. My roc didn't come with variable service intervals. It's every 10k miles or 12 months. First service at 10k was £117 which was quite reasonable.

I am really surprised by the pirelli but then, I'm a motorway crunched most of the week. I don't get much chance to hammer the tyres. Wish I had known a 170 diesel was in the way. I would have waited but now it's too costly to change and il never make the money of cost to change back in fuel savings.

My first service was about that price. 2nd service is a lot more I have discovered. I would love to know what they do different in this reputed major service. It all shows as one mine item on my invoice so have no idea!

Look in your service book, the maintenance schedule is all laid out in there and it tells you what gets done and at what mileage. Simples!!

Hi picked my car up on the 25th of September, I was offered a service package that for £460 paid at £12 per month I would get all my service cost covered for 3 years, this includes all parts and the cost of the MOT on the final year. It also extends my road side recovery from 12 to 36 months.
If I sell the car then payments stop, needless to say I went for it.
