i sat in that one before!!

i used to live just up the road from them.

i rang them once to propose them a price and see if they could match a price ( thinking i could economically benefit my fellow coventrians).

Godammit i got told off! The woman there said i was fishing around and the price from a website she never heard before. I was lucky to get anything thrown in etc etc.

had she been more polite i would have been more informative, but with that attitude....i hope they'll never sell that car!

Yes, I saw that one on the VW website a few weeks ago (infact I put my own post up on this), it is prett well loaded, as it should be for that price, but I don't think it has DynAudio!

Considering up to 3,500 miles (Demonstrator??) they will have to come down to at least £26.5k before any interest!

What a con, its got hill hold, a sunroof and satnav and an autobox on top of what mine has, and I got mine brand new with less than 10 miles on it when it was delivered and believe me, it cost no where near that!! No where! Cheeky beggars! I remember my salesman telling me that he gave me a decent price (8% off list and mudflaps and mats) that there were demonstrators down south with a few thousand miles on them going for upwards of £25,000. Worlds gone mad. Mines only got 800 miles on it now, maybe I should trade it in and be quids in!! Doubt that would work tho :)

Would be interesting to see what price that garage would give on a trade in on a Scircocco.

Be it would be no where near that high!!

When I clicked on the eBay link I assumed it would be a clueless private seller and NOT a VW dealership. I know the car is loaded with goodies but who the hell is going to pay £30K for that?

Nuts!
Car now at docks waiting to board ship. Due to sail Sat 24 Oct! 23/10
Car now at a UK port being checked. 26/10)
Car still at the port of Sheerness until 3 Nov. Grrr 29/10
Car at dealers and being prepped. 3/11
Car Deliverd :-) 10 Nov 2009
