GT badges...
Ordered my Scirocco 2.0 GT on saturday, delivery of the 26th november. Just wondering if any1 knows why the GT doesn't have a GT badge anywhere on it? An can you buy them anywhere?

Re: GT badges...
You can tell it's a GT by having 18" wheels, tinted glass and foglights. No need for extra badges.Drigbyy2k wrote:Ordered my Scirocco 2.0 GT on saturday, delivery of the 26th november. Just wondering if any1 knows why the GT doesn't have a GT badge anywhere on it? An can you buy them anywhere?

Very true, but you can also spec those parts on a non GT. Wouldnt make sense I agree cos it costs much more, but I think it would be a nice addition to the badging, even just a GT badge on the wheel maybe, but you cant get them for the 2010 sadly.

So the 2010 models have gt badges? Is that as in the models being made after week 45?

No no, I was saying it would be nice if they did have GT badges. I dont know about the WK45 changes, but would doubt that they would be any different to the likes of mine apart from some extra options that are maybe available.

What I meant by they are not available for the 2010 model, was the steering wheel badge. on 2009 models you could get a GT badge for the wheel from the golf GT, but the new wheel is different and there isnt a GT badge available, the new GTI and GTD have a badge on the bottom of the wheel, but its a GTI badge or GTD badge. But these will fit as its the same wheel, so I suppose you could look into getting a GTI badge for the wheel if nothing else.

Spot on, they keep her nice and clean and free of sheep shit! and cow shit and every other sort of crap that you get up here. The front ones are very small and not too noticeable, the back ones are a little bigger, but on the darker colours they blend in nicley, If I had a white one they might have been more of a choice issue but on mine I dont notice them, and as I said, its better they get clarted than the sides of the car

Thats simple, everything I ordered on mine! Dynaudio's great if you like your music. The folding mirrors are handy too, use them more than I thought I would and they have puddle lights on the bottom of them, I drive alot at night so the Xenons are awesome and the cornering lights that incorporated in them are good too. I put oilskins in mine so I got hatchbag bootliner. Parking sensors are good, but not 100% needed, and the cruise control is handy too, stops me getting carried away!!
