These guys usually (not always) have good prices http://www.mytyres.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bought three sets so far, and have gotten at most 4 month old rubber.

Hey, anyone got Bridgestone Potenza RE050? Mine are 235/45/17 and came with the Donningtons. I ordered the car in the UK but LHD so the car is as if it was for Germany - German manual, German default language, German tyres??? I searched the forum but couldn't find anything. They seem to be good at reviews but already had a couple of totally unexpected oversteers, which for a FWD car is surprising.

Hi sashpe

I have the same wheels & tyres as you, Potenza on Donningtons

They seem good so far, although I'm not really pushing at all yet, only done 1000 KM or so and still running in

I have felt the back end skip sideways just slightly once or twice but I just put this down to hard suspension

I haven't actually "got a pisser on" in it yet as they say :eek: I'm more expecting understeer in the event of over confidence to be honest

Anyone else got opinions on the Potenzas ?

I've got the Potenza RE050A's and have covered about 3000 miles on them. I find them to be pretty good, not really had any problems with oversteer and they seem quite resistant to understeer. I'll look to change my wheels for some lightweight 18's at some point and I think I'll give some Goodyear Eagle's a go as I was very, very impressed with these on a previous car. Pot's probably get 7/10 from me.
