Does Scirocco use the same DSG box for 1.4TSI and TDI?

Post by gmichael »

Hello!

I'm still thinking about 1.4TSI 7 speed DSG 250Nm limit and its influence on chip remap.
However, there is a TDI with 7 speed DSG box and 320Nm.
Do they share the same 7 speed DSG?

TIA

I dont think that there is a DSG7 for the TDI models and the 2.0 TSI - they are using a DSG6.

Only the 1.4 TSI (122 and 160) has a DSG7 option

Both 140TDI and 170TDI have too much torque for the 7 speed DSG box to handle (max rated at 250NM, 140 has 320NM and 170 has 350NM).

All TDI variants use the 6 speed DSG.
