Hi all
Please can you advise me, i bought the above car yesterday and all was well on the journey home, however this morning I have lights on my dash complaining about the auto stop/start and the traction control.

Please can you help?

It is common for stop-start systems to be disabled when the battery is past its best - still perfectly able to power the electrical systems and start the engine, but no longer able to withstand the deep discharge associated with stop-start.

The traction control warning could potentially be associated with a weak battery (assuming that you haven't accidentally pressed the traction control button), but If this problem persists, the fault memory would need interrogating to pinpoint the cause

Thanks 1.4_tsi,

I'm running the car on 13v while driving, apparently. It's booked in under warranty.

Could be a battery on its way out. these stop/start systems are really sensitive to battery health, even if it still starts fine the voltage under load might not be enough.
