DCC Plug Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the DCC plug on the rear shock absorber without breaking it?

I think its push the tab down, push it in, than out.

They are quite brittle at the best of times

Have a look at the connector on the new shock as that will give you a clue where the lugs are that need to be disengaged before you can pull it out.
