Hi
New to the forum and a new owner. I have had to have the driver side door window replaced (smashed) the guy who came out to fit the new glass managed to get the glass in place, but the window will only rise about 2 cm's. They tried to manual reset with the key in the door, but still left with the window not wanting to rise.
Any idea's would be appreciated... my new car has a not very nice plastic window keeping the elements out currently.

Re: Drivers door window not rising
Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery can reset the module, which in some case can reset the module.
It could also be the window is not gitted correctly and meeting resistance and the anti-trap function is cutting power.

Thank you for your reply
unfortunately the reset via battery disconnect has not helped. Without the glass the lifters only move the same amount, so I don't know the module is faulty or needs to be reprogrammed. Any ideas or any recommendations where to take it in South Essex, greatly appreciated
