a few days ago I picked up a 2009 2.0 tsi manual and would like to check things are functioning to the best of their ability. I would just like to make sure that no area around the engine has been left untouched for a few years as if they have then they may well need cleaning/greasing/oiling/changing.
So I'm thinking along the lines of egr clean/blank, maf clean, throttle body clean etc etc.
A bit about the cars info...
2.0 tsi manual
Stage 2 remap (superchips bluefin)
Ram air intake
Forge blow of valve
Decat
Exhaust resonator delete
I have posted a question about the car stuttering a bit when I'm accelerator hard from around 80mph and between 3.5-4K revs.
So I'm trying to eliminate any possible causes .
What would you do to make sure everything is functioning fully ?
Thanks
What would you do first ?

He has said that it's been revised as it's a 2010 model on a 2009 plate. Don't know how much truth is in this

Get a garage to check the Part number on the tensioner, I think you can see it if you remove the chain over.
If your unsure, id get it changed for peace of mind

I can confirm the chain tensioner from mid 2012 are the last revised from VW.
My 2010 need to do the complete chain distribution! A lot of money in VW Service.
