I got a free supaguard (and factory bluetooth!) due to the delay on my car, i figured it would get it through the winter at least, make it easier to wash and means i don't have to be out waxing the car in the middle of january when the car was delivered. Mistake! It's gone really sticky and gummy feeling, it's horrible. everything sticks to it and it feels rough and grippy after you wash it.
After talking to Paul at Wonder detail, he says it sounds like 'sticky paint', a phenomenon associated with these types of sealants, where it goes gummy when you try to machine polish it, and could take him two days work with the polisher to put it right. Fingers crossed it won't be that bad. I want to use my swissvax best of show wax, but i want it clayed and machine polished before hand to remove the rough bits, swirls and scratches to make a really stunning job of it. It's rising blue which will look awesome waxed i reckon. Once it's done it'll be great, at the moment you can't even get flys off it, they just sink into the gummyness.

He's coming here on thursday to evaluate.
