Help 2.0 TSI EML

Post by Tomrowland141 »

Hello everyone, I had the engine management light come on 3 weeks ago and some misfiring issues.
I rang the RAC to come see what the problem was because I'm clueless.
It came up with a intermittent misfire on cylinder one so I changed all four coil packs and all the spark plugs, I also changed the; oil filter, fuel filter and the air filter for good measure.
And even though I have fixed the misfire, the EML is still coming on with a intermittent misfire on cylinder one.
Can anyone help diagnose the problem so I can finally fix it?
Any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated!

Could be anything.
Ideally you'd need to scan it and get the error code.

Could be injectors but its just guesswork without diagnosing

If you've reset the fault codes and the EML is coming back on and when scanned the cause is a misfire on cylinder 1. As you have changed the coilpack and the plug, it will either be the injector or due to low compression.
