After market shocks for DCC suspension

Post by seaniebda »

Hi All,

I have a 2009 Scirocco. Both the back shocks are leaking. I priced the main dealer and its 800 euro's for a pair! Is there any other company that make DCC shocks to suit a Scirocco that are cheaper?

As the roads in Ireland are generally bumpy I never use the sports setting. Is it possible to replace the shocks with a standard set and re-program the DCC so there not in use? Just an idea. Maybe it cannot be done.

Thanks in advance.

It's not really that expensive, e.g. alfa mito shocks are £750 EACH

Don't know how much you were expecting them to be? £50? £100???

I'd keep it stock to make it easier to sell on.
