DSG Servicing on Scirocco 1.4 TSI Twincharged 160bhp

Hi all,

Just need someone to confirm this but I've just been told my local VW specialist that the 7 speed DSG on my VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI Twicharged does not need an oil change/servicing every 40000 miles. Since it has been aroud those may miles I thought it would be best to have the DSG services since I was under the impression that all DSGs needed servicing every 40000 miles. Has someone got any info about that?

Officially it doesnt require oil change but i wouldn’t take the risk.
There is wear and oil gets hot and deteriorates.
Dq250 is also not the best dsg made.
40.000 miles is maybe a bit quick, you have to decide yourself what feels good for you.
