Removing front bumper center grille section?

Post by LHM »

Does anyone know how the front bumper lower center grille section removes, particularly on the Scirocco R? My grille is slightly damaged so I have a new one arriving tomorrow from TPS.

Be interested to hear how this went. My missus has just bought a Scirocco R Line and it has damaged grill and fin part round the fog light. How was the TPS quality in terms of fit? I read a review saying the fit wasnt the best.

hi mate, I have purchased the new part from TPS, but not fitted it yet. My front bumper is getting painted next week so will be fitting it then.

who said the fit wasn't the best? That's odd because TPS use genuine OEM parts!

It was an online review on a site selling TPS parts.
Think they were £60ish but one from VW was £100. I don’t don’t even make a note of the site following that.
I’ve fitted cheap bike fairings in the past and that’s put me off cheaper parts when there’s a chance of it being fiddly

TPS are part of VW UK and only supply OEM parts. They are basically Volkswagens logistics arm and supply dealers with parts. The part you buy from the dealer is supplied through TPS and thus identical.

Possibly the review referred to another TPS who supply pattern parts.

well ive purchased all 3 bumper grille pieces, the 2 outer grilles were £42 inc vat each and the center grille was £58 inc vat. All genuine parts from TPS.
