Cold engine ticking noise 2.0tdi 140 Dsg

Hi,

I have recently started to notice a ticking noise coming from the engine of my scirocco, predominantly when the engine is cold.

It tends to happen at 1200rpm and above when driving along, and speeds up when I put my foot down.
Also when cold it feels like it's stuttering but nothing more than that.

When the car is warm the noise seems to disappear and there is no stuttering.

There are no warning lights on the dash that appear either.

The car has had its engine recall done for the emissions fault in the last year, also has had a service and dsg service completed in the last 3 months.

If anyone has had the same sort of issues, please can you offer some advice.

Check your injectors idle stabilisation values with vcds.

Can most places do that or does it have to go to Vw?
