Hi guys,
Does anyone know how I can reset my sunroof?
Basically I've fitted a new motor and tested it and all seemed fine. I went to open the sunroof yesterday and it doesn't open now, the motor moves slightly but then stops like it's finished.
Is there some sort of reset I can do?
Thanks in advance.
Carl

Maybe try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins, then try again

If you do disconnect the battery, don't panic when you start the car up and the steering and ESP warning lights don't go off. They will go off soon after you start driving and the steering angle sensor re-calibrates.
Rather than disconnecting the battery you could just pull the fuse to remove power to the sunroof. I believe it's fuse 33 in the fuses at the end of the dash.

That's probably easier, thanks I'll try that when I get home.Cuprabob wrote:If you do disconnect the battery, don't panic when you start the car up and the steering and ESP warning lights don't go off. They will go off soon after you start driving and the steering angle sensor re-calibrates.
