Is there an (easy) way of removing the factory fitted chrome exhaust tips on my GT?
The previous owner didn't look after the tips properly, so some of the chrome has completely disappeared. I'd like to replace them, if possible.
Can you remove original exhaust tips?

Ha ha! Fair enough. Are they welded on?

Re: Can you remove original exhaust tips?
Yes, you would need to cut them off a weld on some aftermarket ones.
Probably easier just to buy a cat back exhaust from a local fabricator, Milltek or another vendor.
You can do some magic with a dremel and dome autosol polish

Ok thanks, it's probably not worth the cost.

What are you trying to achieve by removing them?

I wanted to replace them with new ones, as the original chrome is so badly damaged.
