Does anyone know how many amps the mdi socket in the armrest puts out?
I've had a google and all I can find is the voltage, nothing on the current
Cheers

Re: Mdi current?
I would say it would be around the 5amps as it will be following the normal USB 1.0 standard

Re: Mdi current?
USB 1.0 - 0.5A
USB 2.0 - 0.5A
USB 3.0 - 0.9A
Although as said above some variants can deliver upto 5A.
Personally, I wouldn't want to draw more than 0.5A through the MDI, even if it is able to deliver more.
