Bonnet release will nt work

Hi can any body help, bonnet release cable snapped without any warning remove the OSF wheel arch liner no luck cant see any thing from underneath getting a little desperate now can any one help

Been a couple of posts about this happening over the last year or two and how to solve it. Can't remember the solution as it's never happened to me. Have a good search and they should come up.
