Hi

just picked the car up from vw dealer having had second service, 18700 miles, I was told I need to have the brake fluid changed soon, 20000 miles, checked the service schedule book but nothing listed.
So is this correct and if so how often should it be done.
The manager also told me I need to replace both rear tyres as they only had about 1000 miles left, so got it home and checked them both had over 6 mm left.
Think I will be going back tomorrow, not happy :grumpy:

Recommended interval is 3 years for the first change and then every 2 years thereafter. Mileage is irrelevant as it's time dependant.

It is in the service booklet.

I've had tyres increase in depth between services based on what the dealer has said:-)
