Hi all,
I have recently bought a 2012 scirocco tdi GT bluemotion, it has the climatronic AC, it is possible to turn off the passenger and or driver side blower in the footwell without turning off the whole air con? It's constantly blowing, whether it's warm or cold. Is this a part of the system or is there something at fault?
It's my first VW so everything is new to me lol
Thanks
Aircon issue

Re: Aircon issue
No, all you can do is switch it off Auto and to turn the fan down to the lowest setting.
The purpose of clinatronic is to maintain a constant cabin temperature so requires some airflow to do so.

Re: Aircon issue
What you can try is to do a calibration of the air flaps press the A-C button and air with the arrow to the right at the same time. And if this doesnt work there might be something possible with vcds, in the longcoding is a setting of the ventilation quantity.

Re: Aircon issue
Auto will automatically distribute air as Cuprabob says
If you dont like that, change the airflow to either cabin vents or windscreen.
The whole idea of auto is that it makes the whole cabin one equal temperature by distributing airflow around the cabin.
