Hi guys,
Sorry if there's a post already relating to the streaming capabilities of the RNS310 unit. I've done a search and found a bunch of threads for the unit but not about streaming from your phone.
My phone connects up and I can make calls etc, there's even the option there for Bluetooth Audio but nothing happens when I'm in the screen. Is this to do with modules?
I jumped in one of the Tiguans at work and paired up, same dash unit and it started playing music from my phone straight away no problem at all. Jumped in a rocco same year as mine and same thing no streaming. Guessing the Roccos have been fitted with modules that don't support bluetooth streaming for some random reason?!?!
If anyone's got any experience with this I'd more than appreciate some guidance
Cheers
All the Best
Kevin

Some 310's don't have Bluetooth ...
VW Scirocco GT 170 in shadow blue metallic with vienna leather, cruise control, parking radar, nav, bluetooth and dynaudio sound system. Remapped and shortshift fitted.

Hi
I have the same issue. I do have Bluetooth installed.
They way I get around it with my galaxy s6 edge
When I get in car before the phone pairs with the car I go into my blue tooth settings on the phone and slide media audio to on.
If I wait for the phone to pair then I can't slide media bluetooth to on.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I had a Bluetooth receiver that I used in my last car so I've been using that. I'll have a little Google of what you're suggesting. Thanks [THUMBS UP SIGN]

OK so I've sussed it out. It's a Samsung issue. In my Galaxy S7 if I go into Bluetooth and click on a settings cog on the paired device (the car) it comes up a little toggled option to use 'media audio'. For some reason every time it connects it boots that into the off position. Very annoying!
