Tyre pressure system

Post by CezMer15 »

Does anyone understand how this works on the scirocco?
I don't have monitoring valves or sensors anywhere (on aftermarket wheels) and my pressure monitor light always pops up like it knows something I don't.

Any information on the system would be spot on, thank you

The system uses the wheel speed sensors to detect a change in rolling radius and as such a drop in pressure.

When you reset the system by pushing the reset button you set the datum. The system doesn't measure actual pressure it measures the drop in pressure by the relative change of rolling radius.

For the system to work you need to reset it everytime you top up the air in any tyre.
