I'm hearing a strange rattling noise coming from my car. It's not consistent uniform pattern of any kind. Sounds like something maybe broken and it is moving inside it's casing sometimes. Times I think it's the clutch.
The reason why I think it's the clutch is because when I switch the AC on I go to pull away the clutch seems to respond later and much more sudden. This is usually in first gear.
A long shot but sometimes I think it might be something wrong with the piston from the combustion chamber.
Anyone got any ideas. I'm thinking of taking it into the VW garage and getting it checked out but I don't want to be told some a dummy story and end up forking alot of money.

Not enough info for any help I thought it... I'll update Ince I get anything back from a garage in case anyone else has similar symptoms
