Strange noise from front of dash?

Hi,
Went out for a run in my wifes 2015 scirocco 1.4 today.
Now theres an odd noise that has appeared.
When you sit parked and give the engine slight revs, you can hear something "throbbing" either at the rear of the engine or the front of the dash?
The noise cant be heard from the engine bay, just in the car. Its very odd. I thought it was linked to the aircon/fan/condenser but maybe not.

My wife will go to vw with it next week, just wondered if it was something anyone on here has any knowledge of?

I've got a 64 plate tdi r line now and it's got a vibration behind the dash. It happens at around 1000-1200 rpm. Mines an auto too, so around town I'm hardly seeing any revs. They told me it was where the hoses come through from the engine into the cabin. Something to do with the air con box?
They can't get to it to adjust/move anything so mines booked in on Monday for 3 days to have the dash removed. Thank god it's being done under warranty.

The technician said it's a common fault on a few models.

Is this similar to what you can hear?

I would pray that when they refit the dash you don't end up with more noises and rattles...

I know, I don't want them to do it. I have no choice though the noise is driving me nuts.

Ours isnt a vibration.....

Its almost like a heatshield resonating or maybe a pump running dry......very hard to tell....

I had a resonating rattle at around 1200rpm on my 2015 184tdi. They took dash out and applied some anti rattle tape stuff which cured it. 6 months later the vibration is back and worse.
