Help needed deciding on a scirocco!

Post by RyanBlackmore »

Hey guys, I'm still searching for my perfect scirocco and I've come across one I like online. I'm in contact with the seller and have asked a few things but not sure what else I need to be asking. Here is what I know so far:

So it's a 2010 VW scirocco, 2.0 tdi 170bhp 'EX60 OSM' it's done 107k miles which I know seems quite high but It's been serviced by VW. It's had a cambelt and water pump and air con service 10k miles ago And new brakes.

Any advice on this and of other things I need to ask would be greatly appreciate it!

Thank you for any help and advice,

Ryan

IMHO, I think you should look for a low mileage Scirocco. More important than that is to understand why the seller is selling it because it might have a problem somewhere. Also, try to figure if the seller likes to race. Make sure the mileage is correct and with that mileage in 6 years it might have seen some motorways which is good. I'm saying this because of DPF. You might have to replace it sooner or later. 1000£.
