hy,

Im looking for my next car( Scirocco :D ), and I see this 2.0 tsi engine with 180 hp, which I know a very little......Im suprised that they have this one, with two already known versions of 220 and 230 hp...

what is the engine code for 180hp?

What are the difrences comparing the 220 version?

and most important, hows the reliability? are there any known issues for this engine?

not sure on engine codes. I'm guess its the same engine just different tune figures.

I don't believe there are an reliability concerns with these engines. The 180PS replaced the very short lived 220PS version (there is no 230 version, only in the Golf GTI PP).

As far as I'm aware you can still get the 220PS engine if you go for the GTS model.

I believe the 230 is the tsi blue motion

So is this 180 hp engine belt or chain driven?

Im really suprised that they have 2.0 tsi with 180 hp........I like it :D

probbaly with the remap, with intercooler, full exhaust the Hp figures will be something like 250 hp :D
