Door mirrors/ Mirrors Down Help

Post by Chrisc_91 »

First post!

I bought my 1.4 fsi 2010 Scirocco on Friday and love it!

I'm having trouble sorting out my mirrors I can't seem other then to move? I have mirror down on which work but they move down literally a mm, could somebody please tell me how I set up my mirrors, I have the mirror controls on the door with the heated mirror sign at the top and the fold in mirror at the 10 o'clock position.

Thank you in advance!

When you have the switch in the "L" position (4 o'clock) and the mirror down function is activated when reverse is selected you can set the mirror down position using the joystick. If you move the joystick away from "L" or start driving the mirror will return to it's normal position.

When setting the normal position for the mirrors set the driver's side one first and then the passenger side one as there is a linked setting that automatically compensates the passenger mirror when you adjust the driver's side one.

Put the car in reverse and then when the mirror goes down, adjust the mirror to your taste with the control button. Then it saves the setting when you reverse the next time.
