Casrol edge 5W30 or 0W30?

Post by Komar »

VW recomended for most of the TSI engins Castrol Edge 5W30.....or even 5W40...

As Im not an expert in oils is there whats the difference betwen 5W30 and 0W30? As I change my oil every 10000 km(or 6300 miles) can a 0W30 be any good for my remmped Rocco? Or do I just stick to 5W30? :D

Personally I would stick to the recommended 5w30.

For reference 0w30 is less viscous than 5w30 at lower temperatures but behaves the same at higher temperatures.
