If you go for an RNS315 then yes.

If you go for an RNS510 then you need to add an external Bluetooth Module, which is normally located under the driver's seat.

What about changing a standard steering wheel for a multi functioning one?

As I understand it that's not as straightforward as it would likely require a different controller and some coding.

Yes, if it was the version with a DAB tuner. I believe there are versions without DAB.

Also, you'll need to add a GPS antenna for the sat nav. I think most people just stick in under the dash when retro-fitting RNS units.

Yes, I got a bit carried away when ticking the option boxes:-)

With respect to cruise, it depends on the year of the car as VW changed from individual stalks at an assembly with both stalks.

With the RCD510 you get a 6.5" touchscreen, a 6 cd stacker, and a 32gb sd card. You also get AM/FM, and possibly DAB.

With the rns310 you get a 5" touchscreen, single cd, sd card slot, and nav running off the cd or sd card slot (I can't remember which). Hardly worth bothering with really.

With the RNS315 you get a 5" touchscreen, single cd, sd card slot and nav running off the internal memory. You can also get am/fm or am/fm/dab, and you can also get Bluetooth built in or not. Essentially, any cobination of standard, DAB, and Bluetooth are available and all look the same (same looking unit as the RNS310 too).

With the RNS510 you get a 6.5" touchscreen single dvd drive 30 - 40gb hard drive, 32gb sd card slot, AM/FM or AM/FM/DAB radio, but no bluetooth. Sat nav runs off the hard drive leaving the dvd drive and sd card slot available for music.

RNS310 could be got for £150 or so but I wouldn't.

RNS315 with Bluetooth and DAB could be got for £200 on a good day, but maps updates cost £100 plus.

RNS510 could be got for as little as £300 but will doubtless be an old poor quality screen version. A decent one without DAB might be £375, while a DAB one could easily be £500 plus. Maps updates are much easier...

I have a non DAB RNS510 in the classifieds section.

These can both be done, and it's best to do them both at the same time that way you only need to take the airbag off once. Both mods will need an new slip ring controller, the link below has a table showing which controllers support which features:
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... 38&t=14802" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you DIY I would expect the mods to cost ~£300-400 if done together.
