Adaptor for climate control?

Post by Green Machine »

Hello, i recently bought a climate control unit for my scirocco, 2010 model. I have received it and it turns out that the pins and plugs dont match up. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an adaptor from the plugs from my 2010 to fit this climate control? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards Josh.

The one I've got has got a long thin on in the middle. The one that I have bought has 2 small ones at one side and one normal size at the other side. Not sure on how to put pictures up, sorry.

I bought it off someone on here, but the pins just don't connect up right. What does the back of your climatronic look like? Could you explain??

You're not trying to replace a standard air con controls with a climate control unit are you?...

Yes, because the Climate panel is just the electronic control for the system. The system itself comprises all the sensors, servo motors, and electric controls which the panel adjusts as necessary. On a standard aircon system these are not fitted as you control them yourself. Essentially, the panel you bought isn't going to fit without retrofitting all the rest of the system, and that's a nation of work....
