2.0 TSI engine rattle

Hi guys,

Since yesterday I have noticed my engine is rattling/ticking I remapped it Friday not sure if it's to do with that or if its a worry or not?

any ideas i know they are noisy standard?

So what was the problem of the engine rattle? I have the same engine and the same sound.

Mine sounds like that too...I thought it was the injectors? Apparently they're noisy engines....

Mine is also quite noisy and I think it is injectors as well. Try a long reach screwdriver held to your ear to locate the noise but avoid the electrics

Hey guys the noise I was originally worried about was a rattle that I could hear inside the car coming from the engine increasing with revs but I wiggled a few things in the engine bay which fixed it, Engine is still noisy like in video so yeah think that's just the injectors.

dont feel left out, mine does the same, not the engine loud but the rattling noise.

Ive been told its the actuator or the heatshield rattling. known problem apparently..
