Hi all,
Does anyone know of any mainstream tyre fitting garages or the like of which would fit privately purchased tyres?
As in i bought the tyres somewhere else i only want them fitting.
Cheers, Kirky

Just try a couple of your local independent tyre fitters. One of them will do it. The larger mainstream places tend to have a policy of not fitting what they don't supply.
My VW dealer fits mine for me

I bought new alloys from one website online, and tyres from a different website. I phoned a few places around where I live and like Bob said a few places wouldn't fit tyres you didn't buy from them. I did find a couple of places who would do it. As mine were new alloys and tyres I didn't have any valves so one of the places wanted £20 per tyre to fit, so I phoned about to compare more places and it was Kwik Fit who actually gave me the best price, New valves fitting and balancing for £50. So I would try them :-)
Cheers
Callum

Timing can be key as well. If you go when their dead quiet, you've got a better chance.

I go to VW dealer they are very reasonable only £48 for fitting four for me.
Personally would never, have never set foot in Kwik Fit - purely on my hatred for their shit annoying advert on TV years ago.

My local independent charges me £20 to fit 4 tyres. Last time was onto new rims so needed valves and it was still £20. Can't complain really.
