Hello, ive got a 1.4 tsi single charged scirocco. and a while ago it started to be a lumpy delivery of power! i was wondering if anyone could directly tell me what to replace? the actuator? or the actual wastegate valve in the exhaust manifold? or the turbo its self? it comes up with a code of overboost?
Cheers josh!

Re: Lumpy power delivery?
Wastegate actuator rod probably sticking - common problem on 1.4tsi single charged engines (CAXA)
When brought into VW with this problem they usually replace the entire turbo! - but i believe it can just be cleaned and lubricated to solve the problem.
