how do turn my headlights off?

Talk about general things related to the new VW Scirocco in here.

I drive a: GT 2.0 TDI 140/150
In: Candy White
With a: Manual box
Options: Pan roof, sat nav, Bluetooth, heated leather, park distance control, tpms, big speedo, cornering lights, sil covers, chrome exhaust tips, white lower front grille, gold coloured calipers,
Location: Cannock

how do turn my headlights off?

Hi...I can't seen to turn my dipped beams off. I've tried the "indicate left and pull (flash the lights)" but the lights won't go off? Do I need the engine running? What position should the switch be in?...am I really too old to understand the instructions in the book?
Most scirocco's are all the same but some are different...

You need VCDS to turn off your headlights if the stalk method doesn't work. Even although it's in the book, the stalk method doesn't work on many cars.

The Scirocco with halogen headlights has the dipped beam on all the time in lieu of DRLs

I have vcds lite...could I do it with that?
