Cool that's good to hear, yeah same here, stainless pipe welded in place of res, just worried about it sound too loud and raspy...as saw an s3 video and it sounded a bit crap. Have many others done this mod on here??

I went to a meet recently and two of the cars had the res delete. Sounded great. It's only loud when you put the foot down. One had packed some fibreglass into the pipe to reduce the noise but it was still very loud.

H&R, just because it has a little more drop and the ride doesn't feel much different to standard

If you decide to go H&R ( Which I can recommend) then get them from Amazon and save yourself a good few quid

big interior clean to sort a month's worth of brekkie croissants. had to use a paint brush to get them out of the leather's tight bits. used meguiars interior quick detailer, cheap glass cleaner, auto glym leather cleaner and lots of chemical guys' air freshener, if i say don't ask which one you can probably guess what it is...

outside tomorrow if weather holds

Sure thing...

We have a Genesis P4 Ultra

Image

Image

running both the audiophile 30.01 Sub in the boot

Image

and audiophile 16.03 midrange and tweeters in the front doors

Image

we protect the sub in the boot with a cover should the need to actually put stuff in it arise :eyepop:

Image

The spare wheel has been removed and the sub box has been custom built in its place and covered with a false floor.

Image

Its all running off the factory headunit ensuring all is well with the controls up front and we have the bass adjustment control hidden away in the driver side cubbyhole.

The sound difference from the standard setup is immense

:vibes:

Wow that's very nice.
Would love a sub in my car.
Had subs in my old car and loved the xtra bass. I would also want it off the factory head it like yours. Maybe one day. How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking? Pm if you want.
