Aftermarket sat nav/ Bluetooth unit- with dynaudio

Post by Wheatley173 »

I have 58 plate 2.0 tsi

It has dynaudio upgrade but no Bluetooth which is frustrating. Also it has the visual reverse monitor which is great.

I have seen several aftermarket head units which offers both blue tooth and sat nav.

My question is would an aftermarket head unit work with the dynaudio set up and still offer the reverse monitor?

Anyone with any experience or can suggest a head unit where all these features would work, ideally a straight forward swap

Thanks

I don't think you can... Got the same issue and been reading up on it. I assume you have the RCD510 with dynaudio like mine ...
VW Scirocco GT 170 in shadow blue metallic with vienna leather, cruise control, parking radar, nav, bluetooth and dynaudio sound system. Remapped and shortshift fitted.

RNS315, which has integrated Bluetooth, is probably the most cost effective solution otherwise it's an RNS510 along with a Bluetooth Module.

It'll probably be possible to get the Dynaudio Amp and have the parking display on an aftermarket unit but it won't be straightforward.

Another solution to consider is the VW OEM Kenwood units.
