Key re-code

Well one of my keys has lost its code which is a pain...

I know there is a way to re-sync by putting it in the ignition but for the life of me I can't find the answer!

Can someone help me please :)

Thanks but it's not for the scirocco - tested anyway but no luck

Hmm ok in my manual is another option. Press the unlock button of the new key. Then open the driverdoor with the new key in less then 1 minute. You have to remove the lock cap on the door handle.If that doenst work then vcds is the only option i guess.
