Can anybody recommend me a nice aftermarket shift knob? Really don't like the Roccos shift knob, very basic and boring to me. Did a brief search but they were all 100 quid+! Are they worth it?
Would like something similar to the GTD/GTI shift knob.
I bought mine on eBay from a guy in Portugal for £100, it was £140 but I put in a bid of £100 and he accepted. Keep an eye on eBay, when I first started looking some people where looking for about €250 for them

I've been looking for the past few days but no luck. Do you know if the the weighted knobs are worth it?

"Performance" knobs, if you like, which carry a lot more weight to make it easier to shift between gears. Have no idea if they work though.

The Gear knob pictured is from a Scirocco R, i have one which i also bought from ebay, they are very rare and its worth checking ebay in various other euro countries as they come up new and used. Also search Golf GTi, Golf R and Scirocco R as they all have similar gears knobs but with different colour stitching ect. Very easy to replace!
Options: multifunction steering wheel, fogs, 18" alloys; DAB; XDS activated, DRLs reset, lock beep activated; indicator repeat set to 4; covered cup holder, rear seat 12v socket installed. metal pedals, 210 Golf GTi also in the stable. Scirocco gone - miss it. Polo GTI now.
