I'm looking to buy a media in cable to work with my iPhone 6.
I was just wondering what this cable will actually allow me to do. I'm guessing it will only let me play music which I have on my phone and also guessing I will be able to control the music selection from the stereo.
My car has the dynaudio upgrade and the head unit allows you to have up to 6 cd's loaded at once.( I'm not sure if this is standard) I don't believe that it has Bluetooth which I find frustrating that when some one specked this car up to have the stereo upgrade, full heated leather and optical reverse sensors that I can not believe that they would not have had Bluetooth added as well.
1.My question for any one in the know is based on the optional extras my car has do you think that it is likely to have Bluetooth, but I'm being stupid and not able to content to it.
2. If I purchase a media in cable for my iPhone, would this allow me to use my phone to make/ receive calls as you would if connected to Bluetooth.
Thanks
Media in for iPhone 6 and Bluetooth.

Re: Media in for iPhone 6 and Bluetooth.
Bluetooth only became standard on the Scirocco towards the end of 2011. Prior to this Bluetooth was a costed option.
The media-in cable will only allow you to charge your phone and play media through The RCD510 headunit. It won't allow you to make / receive calls like Bluetooth.
This is the cable you need to connect your IPhone 6;
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
