Hello there
First off I'm sorry my initial post has to be that of disappointment and heart ache, so here's the story so far:
I bought a 2009 scirocco 160 1.4 Tsi
I've had a few and the bloke was selling it cheap as she wouldn't boost, i fixed this with a new intake flap....but she has a very slight misfire on idle.
Now, the timing chain was replaced by vw but is now out of warranty
So far, I've replaced the intake flap, coil pack, injectors, plugs, map sensor one in the pipe that goes to the inter cooler?, manifold pressure sensor, throttle body, injector rail, high pressure fuel pump (I had these parts spare)
Then the dreaded compression test:
No1 90. No2 150. No3 150. No4. 180
GUTTED IS NOT THE WORD!
my missus is expecting and I don't have the cash for this!!
So my question is this
Would 90 in cyl 1 course a misfire at idle?
I don't know why but I have a niggle that even though it is down on compression there's something else amiss, boosts as it should but on rare occasions holds back very slightly.
Idles between 700-800 rpm
Misfire goes at around 1200 rpm
I don't want to put a new engine in it to find there's a sensor/ ecu I missed as I'm not very familiar with working on the tsi's
It's driving me insane, it's like this car is possessed, first bat dies and won't re charge, then this with Tick over, then the dual mass has started to make a noise then it losses it's codes for the abs and beeeeeeeeps in my ear every five seconds, I recon I'm about ready to find it a ditch......
Very sorry for the rant!
Cheers
The nightmare 160, any help would be great!!

Just had it on live data (snapp on solos)
Map shows fluctuation with revs like it should, however the biometric pressure is reading 99 wether while accelerating, or at a stand still or even with ignition off, Is this normal?
Thanks for any advice
